- Bihar is now equipped with a 200 ft glass bridge

THoD Newsdesk, Bihar: In an effort to bolster tourism in the state, Bihar is now equipped with a 200 ft glass bridge, set to be inaugurated next year in Rajgir, Nalanda district. Structured amidst five hills, this bridge will soon be a thriving spot for adventure enthusiasts. This project would further increase the footfall of both domestic and international visitors in the state and help in reviving losses of the stakeholders.
Dimensions of this bridge include: 85 feet of length and 6 feet of breadth and it standing with a towering height of second is 250-feet. The bridge is built on the lines of China’s Hangzhou glass bridge and it will be able to accommodate 40 visitors at a time. As per official claims, the bridge will be opened to tourists on New Year.
Bihar’s Chief Minister, Nitish Kumar, on Saturday, inspected Nature Safari and Zoo Safari developments at Rajgir in Nalanda district. The CM stated, “Nature Safari is being built in such a way that people of all ages will be able to enjoy the mountains and trees. All security arrangements will be there. The project will be completed by March 2021.”
The safari will take tourists on a trip to the dense forests of Rajgir and the ropeway will also have around 18 glass covered cabins. Every cabin will have a capacity for 8 tourists and will cover a distance of 750 m in five minutes. Moreover, tourists can also partake in other activities like air cycling. According to reports, a butterfly park is also set to come up.
Rajgir in Nalanda is already famed for its historic heritage and this new skywalk will now add leaps and bounds to its attraction.
