This page sets out how The Hospitality Daily reports, checks and corrects its work.
Sourcing
Factual claims are taken from named primary sources: company announcements, regulatory filings, official statistics and on-the-record statements. Each article lists its sources. Where a detail comes from another publication, we say so.
Announced plans
Hotel signings and openings are reported as announced plans. Room counts, opening dates and investment figures are those stated by the operator or owner at the time and can change.
Analysis
Where we draw a conclusion from the facts, we label it as our reading.
Images
Captions state whether an image is a photograph of the property, an architectural rendering or a representative photograph.
Commercial content
Advertising and partner messages are labelled and kept separate from reporting. Directory listings do not buy coverage.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we correct the article and note the change. Report an error through the submit news page.
