Hotel das Cataratas, A Belmond Hotel is at kilometre 32 of the BR 469 highway inside Iguassu National Park at Foz do Iguaçu, on the Brazilian side of the Iguassu Falls. According to Wikipedia, the two-storey Portuguese colonial style hotel opened in 1958 and wings were added in 1971 and 1982. The same source states that Orient-Express Hotels took it on in 2007 and completed a US$20 million refurbishment in 2010. Orient-Express Hotels was renamed Belmond in 2014.
