What it supplies
JLA Limited supplies and maintains commercial equipment in four areas: laundry, catering, heating and air conditioning, and fire safety. It was established in 1973 as a family-run company in Ripponden, West Yorkshire, where it is still based. Its Total Care package, launched in 1984, gives customers new machines with no capital outlay, backed by breakdown support.
For hotels, guesthouses and spas, JLA offers commercial washing machines, tumble dryers, irons, drying cabinets and managed laundry, alongside catering equipment, boiler and air conditioning service contracts, fire alarms and fire risk assessments. Its hotels page says it works with over 3,000 hotels and spas across the UK and has 450 local engineers. The company history lists investment by Hg Capital in 2010 and Cinven in 2018.
