About the hotel
Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo stands on Place du Casino in Monaco. It was built in 1864 and is owned by Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer (SBM). SBM’s press kit records a Belle Epoque renovation in 1909 and a full rebuilding programme by architects Richard Martinet and Gabriel Viora, carried out in phases from October 2014, with the complete hotel reopening in December 2018.
The 2021 press kit gives 209 rooms, about 60% of them suites; the Monaco Convention Bureau lists 206 rooms including 94 suites. Restaurants are Le Louis XV – Alain Ducasse à l’Hôtel de Paris, which holds three Michelin stars, Le Grill on the eighth floor and Em Sherif Monte-Carlo, with Le Bar Américain. The hotel has a rooftop Wellness Sky Club with a pool, direct access to the Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo, the 633 sq m Salle Empire and a wine cellar built in 1874.
