Aman Tokyo occupies upper floors of the Otemachi Tower at 1-5-6 Otemachi in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. The tower has 38 storeys above ground and six below, stands 199.7 m to the roof and was designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox, with Taisei Corporation as main contractor. It was completed in April 2014 and also houses the Mizuho Bank headquarters. Aman’s accommodation page places the hotel’s highest guest floor 38 storeys above ground.
The hotel opened in 2014 and is operated by Aman, whose site lists 84 Suites and Signature Suites ranging from 71 sq m to 157 sq m. Kerry Hill is credited as its architect. It contains the restaurants Arva and Musashi by Aman, The Lounge, The Café by Aman and La Pâtisserie, and an Aman Spa with onsen-style hot baths, steam rooms, a 30-metre pool and yoga and Pilates studios.
