About the hotel

Four Seasons Hotel Firenze stands at Borgo Pinti 99 in Florence and occupies two historic buildings: Palazzo della Gherardesca, built in 1473 by Bartolomeo Scala, and the 16th-century Palazzo Del Nero. They are set in the Giardino della Gherardesca, a private garden with statues, fountains and a small Ionic temple, which the operator describes as one of the largest private gardens in Florence.

The hotel opened in June 2008 and is operated by Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. Its press fact sheet gives 121 keys, made up of 76 guest rooms and 45 suites, of which 36 rooms are in Palazzo Del Nero. Studio Noferi and Studio Magris & Partners were the architects and Pierre Yves Rochon the interior designer. It contains five restaurants and bars, a 791 sq m spa with 10 treatment rooms, an outdoor pool and 2,768 sq m of meeting space.
