About the hotel
Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo, México is at kilometre 7.5 of Carretera Federal 200 in the municipality of La Huerta, Jalisco, on Mexico’s Pacific coast. It sits in a private nature reserve that Four Seasons gives as more than 3,000 acres, about 1,200 hectares. The resort opened in November 2022 and is managed by Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. Its fact sheet describes a 157-room resort and lists 63 suites.
The architects were Victor Legorreta, Mauricio Rocha and Mario Schjetnan, with resort design by Uribe Krayer and Estudio Esterlina. The resort has three restaurants, Coyul, developed with the chef Elena Reygadas, Sal and Nacho, plus breakfast at the Rancho Lola farm. It also contains a spa of about 2,900 square metres with eight treatment rooms, infinity pools on three levels and the 18-hole El Tamarindo Golf Course designed by David Fleming.
