About the hotel

Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens occupies a 30 hectare estate at 40 Apollonos Street in Vouliagmeni, about 30 minutes from both Athens International Airport and the city centre. The property originally opened in August 1960 and reopened in March 2019 under Four Seasons management, according to the operator’s press fact sheet. Accommodation is spread across the Arion and Nafsika buildings and The Bungalows, with 303 keys in total: 200 rooms, 42 suites and 61 bungalows.

The fact sheet credits AETER with the lead architectural study, Meyer Davis Studio with interiors and Thomas Doxiadis with the grounds. The hotel has four restaurants, Mercato, Helios, Pelagos and Taverna 37, plus lounges and bars including Avra, Astron and the Kyma pool bar. Facilities include three private beaches, a spa with eight treatment rooms, and 2,119 square metres of event space. Astir Marina, with 59 berths, is adjacent.
