San Domenico Palace, Taormina, A Four Seasons Hotel is at Piazza San Domenico 5 in Taormina, Sicily, on a promontory above the Ionian Sea. Four Seasons describes two parts: the Ancient Convent Wing, built on the site of a 14th-century convent, and the Grand Hotel Wing, a Liberty-style addition of 1896. Four Seasons opened the hotel under its management in July 2021, with Valentina Pisani as lead architect of the restoration.
The hotel has 111 keys, made up of 68 rooms and 43 suites. It contains the restaurant Principe Cerami, which Four Seasons describes as Michelin-starred, together with Anciovi on the pool terrace, Rosso and Bar & Chiostro. Other facilities are the Botanica Spa with five treatment rooms and an indoor pool, a 21-metre infinity pool, a fitness centre and more than 1,700 sq m of indoor and outdoor event space including a ballroom. The General Manager is Imelda Shllaku.
