About the hotel
La Réserve Paris Hotel and Spa stands at 42 avenue Gabriel in the 8th arrondissement, on the corner of Rue du Cirque and close to the Champs-Élysées. According to the hotel, the building was constructed in 1854 and belonged to the family of the Duke of Morny until 1888. It was later bought by an insurance company and then by Pierre Cardin’s company before passing to Michel Reybier and his family.
The hotel opened in 2015 with interiors by Jacques Garcia. It has 40 keys, with more suites than rooms: the 50 Best Discovery listing gives 25 suites and 15 rooms. It is part of Michel Reybier Hospitality. Dining is led by chef Jérôme Banctel at Le Gabriel, which the hotel describes as a three-star restaurant, and at La Pagode. Spa Nescens has a 16 metre indoor pool, three treatment rooms, a hammam and a fitness area.
