Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel stands at 10 Place de la Concorde in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. The building dates from 1758 and was designed by Ange-Jacques Gabriel. According to Wikipedia, it opened as a hotel on 11 March 1909 after a refurbishment by Walter-André Destailleur.
The hotel closed in March 2013 for a renovation led by Aline Asmar d’Amman, working with Tristan Auer, Chahan Minassian, Cyril Vergniol and Karl Lagerfeld, and reopened on 5 July 2017 under the management of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. Wikipedia gives 78 guest rooms and 46 suites; Rosewood’s site lists 36 suites and ten signature suites, among them the Grands Appartements by Karl Lagerfeld. The hotel contains the restaurant Nonos par Paul Pairet, Bar Les Ambassadeurs, Jardin d’Hiver, Butterfly Pâtisserie, La Cave, a Sense spa with pool, a hair salon by David Lucas and the Salons Historiques event rooms.
