Carlton Cannes, a Regent Hotel is at 58 boulevard de la Croisette on the Cannes seafront. According to Wikipedia, it opened on 30 January 1911 to designs by the architects Charles Dalmas and Marcellin Mayère, and Katara Hospitality, which is owned by the government of Qatar, bought it in 2014. The same source records that the hotel closed on 10 September 2020 for renovation and reopened on 13 March 2023 under IHG’s Regent brand, with a formal reopening event on 17 May 2023.
