About the hotel
Patina Osaka is a 20-storey hotel opposite Osaka Castle and next to Naniwanomiya-Ato Park. It opened on 1 May 2025 as the first Patina Hotels & Resorts property in Japan. Patina is a brand of Capella Hotel Group. The January 2024 announcement named NTT Urban Development Corporation, a real estate company of the NTT Group, as developer. Jun Mitsui & Associates Architects designed the exterior and Strickland the interiors.
The hotel has 221 rooms and suites. Its food and drink venues are P72, Barin, IÑAKI, the NIJIRI tea lounge and Sonata Bar & Lounge. The Patina Spa covers 1,400 sq m and offers treatments including hyperbaric oxygen therapy and cryotherapy, and there is an indoor heated pool. The Listening Room by OJAS, on the top floor, is an audio space with sound systems by Devon Turnbull.
