About the hotel

Park Hyatt Tokyo occupies the 39th to 52nd floors of Shinjuku Park Tower in Nishi-Shinjuku, a complex designed by Kenzo Tange. It opened in July 1994 as the first Park Hyatt hotel in Asia, with interiors by John Morford. After a 19-month restoration led by the Paris studio Jouin Manku, the hotel reopened on 9 December 2025, according to Hyatt Hotels Corporation.

The hotel has 171 rooms, including 29 suites. Restaurants and bars include New York Grill and New York Bar on the 52nd floor, Girandole by Alain Ducasse, The Peak Lounge & Bar and the Japanese restaurant Kozue. Club On The Park is a two-storey spa and fitness centre of 2,100 square metres, with an 8 by 20 metre indoor pool on the 47th floor. Event space comprises a ballroom, three function rooms and a board room.
