The Beverly Hills Hotel stands at 9641 Sunset Boulevard in Beverly Hills, California. According to Wikipedia, it opened on 12 May 1912, before the city was incorporated, and was developed by Margaret J. Anderson and her son Stanley S. Anderson to a Mediterranean Revival design by Elmer Grey. Paul R. Williams added the Crescent Wing in 1949. The same source says the hotel was sold to the Sultan of Brunei in 1987, closed for restoration in December 1992 and reopened in June 1995.

The hotel is part of Dorchester Collection, which was established in 2007 and lists it alongside Hotel Bel-Air as its Los Angeles properties. The official site names John Scanlon as general manager. Accommodation comprises rooms, suites and bungalows.
